D1 Training

D1 Training is not your typical fitness studio or gym membership. It's a training facility designed to foster champions. So when D1 Training was seeking to have signage produced for their Burlington, MA location by a local sign company, we were excited to be a part of their project.

D1 Training's sign package included both exterior signage and interior decor. For their primary identifying wall sign, D1 opted for individual LED channel letters directly mounted to the facade for both their North and South facing elevations. The signage proposed and fabricated was in accordance with their brand guidelines; 5" deep channel letters, black returns & trim caps, and 3M translucent applied vinyl graphics. Both illuminated signs required permitting from the Town of Burlington and FASTSIGNS of Woburn attended the Zoning Board of Appeals hearing on behalf of D1 to have the signage approved.

Installation of both sign sets required use of our bucket truck and was installed with the industry standard treatment regarding electrical connection. We tested the sign illumination onsite with the truck generator prior to installation. After the letters were mounted, the wiring penetrated thru the facade, and connection made inside the studio... we wired the sign to the junction box set in place prior from the licensed electrician working on the project.

For the interior signage, D1's required items were almost entirely vinyl graphics. This is a wise move considering D1 facilities are usually large in space; having big vinyl graphics is arguably the most cost-effective sign solution for brand awareness. Other than 1 large PVC logo sign and the required ADA compliant signage regarding Restroom Signs, Janitor's Closet, etc... D1 had die cut vinyl throughout which added color and brought the space to life. Items included entrance door logo vinyl, big 3M vinyl graphics mentioning D1 Training's various city locations throughout the US, and bold statements to employ the brand's values & attitude.
