FASTSIGNS® of Oviedo, Florida, recently donated nearly 4,000 Lake Mary Little League stickers and autograph books for the Lake Mary All-Star parade in August to celebrate the team’s 2024 Little League World Series Championship. Lake Mary is the first little league in the state to win the World Series.
Liz Allen, owner of FASTSIGNS® Oviedo, told WFTV (Channel 9) the community project started after the team won the World Series against Chinese Taipei. “This was a possibility of something that we could do that would be fast and that we could make a difference in the Lake Mary Little League,” said Allen.
“I immediately started working on Welcome Home signs for Garrett Rohozen, since he is my neighbor and for the last six years we have seen him tirelessly practicing in his front yard,” said Allen.
“We didn't stop there,” said Allen, whose center also created large decals and banners for the team moms and the parade. In appreciation, the League gave us a signed ball which we are raffling off for free,” added Allen, who has asked Garrett to pull a winning name.
