Polystyrene - What is it?
Polystyrene is very similar to foam PVC and coroplast. Polystyrene's flexibility makes it ideal for curved surfaces and it is best used indoors.
Sizes Polystyrene is available in various lengths, widths and thicknesses, and comes in sheets of up to 4' x 8'.
Thicknesses The most commonly used thicknesses for polystyrene is generally .020, .030 and .060 gauges. (approximately 1/64", 1/32", and 1/16") Thinner gauges are more translucent and therefore are not recommended for double-sided signage.
