(CRYSTAL LAKE, IL) Jan. 30, 2019— FASTSIGNS® of Crystal Lake, IL was recently recognized at the 2020 FASTSIGNS International Convention for their extensive work with United Way of Greater McHenry County.
In 2019, FASTSIGNS donated signs for the newest iPledge Campaign. As one of the first iPledge supporters, FASTSIGNS offered The United Way of Greater McHenry County $25 per every that was $500+ for the first two quarters of the year.
“We blasted every business on social media when they placed an order,” said Jody Kemp, franchisee at FASTSIGNS® of Crystal Lake, IL. “My customers were excited because I would tag their business to show that they supported the United Way as well with their order.”
Because of this, United Way of Greater McHenry County awarded the team at FASTSIGNS The Social Buzz Award for using social media to engage the community and increase awareness of United Way and their partnership.
FASTSIGNS, along with a growing number of donors of McHenry County, made it possible for $1.1 million dollars to be allocated to 29 local partner agencies, an increase of over $99,000 more than last year.
“I am involved with this organization because I feel it's very important to give back to those in our community and give where you live” said franchisee, Jody Kemp. “The money donated to United Way supports local programs and agencies. Dollars raised in your community stay in your community to help build a better place for us all to live, work and raise our families. This truly is neighbor helping neighbor!”
