(DALLAS, Texas) May 24, 2022 - FASTSIGNS® of North Dallas, a locally owned and operated sign and graphics provider, was recently purchased by industry veterans, Mark and Shawn Glenn. This is the fifth location that the duo now own and manage in addition to FASTSIGNS of Carrollton, FASTSIGNS of Dallas, TX - Oaklawn, FASTSIGNS of Dallas, TX - Downtown and FASTSIGNS of Dallas, TX - Love Field.

Mark and Shawn Glenn began their successful careers in the sign and graphics industry as corporate employees at FASTSIGNS International, Inc. Mark Glenn joined the company in 1997 and was employed in the Operations Department, first as a Business Consultant and later as the Director of Compliance. He left in 2011 in order to become a FASTSIGNS Franchisee. Shawn Glenn worked at FASTSIGNS International, Inc., from 2001 through 2004 as Creative Services Manager in the Marketing Department.
In 2011, Mark and Shawn Glenn acquired their first FASTSIGNS center in Carrollton , Texas (2717 E Belt Line Road), and more than doubled the annual sales after only two years in operation. In 2014, they expanded this location to accommodate more production and office space as they also continued to grow their sales. In 2015, FASTSIGNS of Carrollton received the Business of the Year Award from the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce. In 2015, the Glenns expanded their business by acquiring three additional FASTSIGNS franchise centers in the Dallas Market; these centers are known as Oak Lawn (2629 Oak Lawn Avenue), Love Field (1555 Prudential Drive/West Mockingbird), and Downtown Dallas (701 Commerce Street).
In 2018, Mark and Shawn received the FASTSIGNS of the Year Award, which is the most prestigious recognition in the franchise network of more than 750 locations worldwide. This award is presented to franchisees who best represent the FASTSIGNS brand in their community and in the network, all while providing exceptional customer service, mentoring, company culture, and employee development. In 2018, they were also honored by the International Franchise Association (IFA) with its annual Franchisee of the Year Award during the IFA’s Franchise Action Network Annual Meeting.
As owners of five FASTSIGNS locations and a 9,000-square-foot production facility, the Glenns employ 30 team members in the DFW Market. They successfully navigated the impact of the Covid pandemic, maintaining sales at levels above the national average and maintaining profitability. Both Mark and Shawn are active in the FASTSIGNS network, with Mark serving on the FASTSIGNS Franchise Advisory Council and Shawn serving as a board member on the FASTSIGNS National Advertising Council. The Glenns are involved on a day-to-day basis with their company and are also actively involved in giving back to the communities that they serve. During the pandemic, they produced and donated 15,000 face shields for the local police department and healthcare workers.
FASTSIGNS of North Dallas is open from Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
